Murray-Lyon

I don't think Murray-Lyon was taken prisoner by the Japanese, as far as i am aware he was sent back to India after being dismissed from command of the 11th Indian Division. He spent the rest of the war on the inactive list. Tristan benedict (talk) 15:39, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

As a close relative and speaking to his nephew, I agree that he was not captured by the Japanese, and instead was sent home. We will post additional data in due course. Carolineonsixth (talk) 08:50, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
